Ultrasound -

Is one of our most often used diagnostic tools, By using sound waves, we are able to visualize internal organs in great detail, allowing diagnosis of many diseases.  It may be used to identify foreign bodies in the intestines.  It is often integral in diagnosis liver, splenic, renal, urinary, and intestinal diseases.  Ultrasound is also used to assist in biopsies.

Endoscopy -

We routinely use endoscopy to visualize the gastrointestinal and respiratory systems.  Common procedures include upper GI studies for vomiting, diarrhea.  Colonoscopy is used for chronic diarrhea.  Rhinoscopy (nose) and bronchoscopy (lungs) allows visualization of the air ways including the trachea and lungs with lavage.

Waldorf Emergency Care will focus on caring and compassionate state of the art services as well as friendly communicative relationships with pet owners and family veterinarians.
